I loved the audio...

How do you lower the quality ??? For some reason, the characters didn't move, and I could only hear their voice... usually I don't have any problems with animations...

Anyway from what I heard it wasn't too bad ! Keep it up!

I've got mixed feelings about this...

I think this was original, but honestly whether you like it or not, art is made to be entertaining. And this was just scary and freaky. I like the message and respect your style, but next time you gotta try to make it a bit more smooth. What really bugged me was the sound. It was just bad! If for example you had chosen to say the words instead of just writting them, and chosen some music or whatever, I dont know maybe it would have been better...

Great job! Loved the style, love the simple joy of life behind the video, the little hints at the world of Miyamoto.

The idea is great and you executed it wonderfully!

Too bad it was too short. You should redo it but longer!

Also, the music got a bit annoying by the end to be honest, maybe if you make it a bit more varied, changed it every so often, it would have been nicer. Your call!

I'm going to be honest...

Hey man

I loved your series so much that, at some point (before college took over...), that I would check newgrounds every single day ONLY to see the next episode.
It had been months since I didn't log in newgrounds, and when I cam yesterday, imagine my excitment when I saw "super mario bros Z ep.7" on the front page!

Alas, well... let's say I was kind of disapointed with your video. I hate to say this, because I know you're putting great efforts on this, but your series's appeal comes from the INCREDIBLE fight scenes. In this video, you tried to focus too much on the humor and character development, as mentionned in an another review, but it just doesn't work. The humor would make a five year old laugh, and the characters are just plain annoying (I wanted to kill that suitcase for god's sake. Same thing for the professor).

The whole 8 bit thing was a bit strange, but I like the fact you tried to make something original. It's true that you need to incorparate new elements in your fight scenes, but I still like them so much.

Don't try to create too much of a back story. The whole toads vs koopa thing is not working man... When the gomba professor was explaining the deal with the Minus World, it was just meaningless. What does it bring to the series?

What you talked about in the first few episodes was very nice, like what happend back in Mobius, how Mecha Sonic came to be etc. So whenever you do a back story in the future, think of about it in the long term. Same thing about character development. (that part with gombella and the koopa professor was annoying too).

And yes the joke about 90k was not appropriate, keep the illusion real.
Fast action is key to the sucess of your series... keep a bit of story (the bowser tantrum was stereotyped, but the "mecha mario" thing and the eggman-bowser team is cool!)

Anyway, after all this criticism, I wish you good luck with the next episode! I'm looking forward to it!

Too bad you can't show the pre-edited version (dude this is NG, no one will complain). I love the "When it comes to capitalism, bend over and say thank you!" ending ! And yeah, the saddest thing about capitalism is the point you raised about people that actually do services like doctors and constructors and still get f*cked by capitalism. Oh well.

Oh by the way, only bad thing about this is the sound quality. It was awful, you gotta be careful with that.

I don't know if you plan on turning this in a series, but you should. It's great. You touch some critical points. However, the reason you are getting a 9 and not a 10 is because this wasn't as funny as the first one. If you do start a serie out of this, make sure you'll get better and better every time.

Wow not bad really... I really liked your style, it's very unique. The flash seemed like a poem, the conversation between the two birds seemed like a read-out-loud song, I don't know if there was actually something profound behind the dialogue (please tell me so if it's the case) but keep it up.
